Basel Chamber Orchestra
The Basel Chamber Orchestra is firmly anchored in Basel with its two subscription series at the Stadtcasino and Don Bosco. The concert programmes range from Viennese classical music with works by Mozart and Beethoven to contemporary music. In the long-term project Haydn2032, all of Haydn's symphonies are performed and recorded.

Haydn Masses for listening at home
The concert recording of Haydn's 'Mass with Timpani' and 'Mass in C Major', performed on 3 December 2025 at St Martin's Church and featuring René Jacobs and the Zürcher Sing-Akademie, is now available online.

Tonight Subscription Concert «Auf Reisen»
Today, September 9, the first Don Bosco Subscription Concert will take place at St. Martin’s Church. Look forward to Baroque “suitcase arias” featuring soprano Maayan Licht.
And on Saturday, September 12, is European Heritage Days. The Basel Chamber Orchestra will perform a lunchtime concert at 12:30 p.m. at the Museum Kleines Klingental. The concert is free.
