Basel Chamber Orchestra
The Basel Chamber Orchestra is firmly anchored in Basel with its two subscription series at the Stadtcasino and Don Bosco. The concert programmes range from Viennese classical music with works by Mozart and Beethoven to contemporary music. In the long-term project Haydn2032, all of Haydn's symphonies are performed and recorded.
The Basel Chamber Orchestra makes a lot of new things out of the old.

Diapason d'Or for Haydn No. 18
Our album Haydn No. 18 “Il Maestro di scuola” receives the prestigious Diapason d'Or in January.
Loïc Chahine describes the recording as follows: «Une image orchestrale d'une belle précision, avec des contours nets dont la fermeté et le mordant participent d'un relief particulièrement tonique.
